Biomass Heating

Biomass has been used for generations in the form of wood burning stoves and open fires. Modern technology now allows this form of bio fuel energy to cleanly and efficiently heat space and hot water. Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organic products.

When integrated into central heating systems in a similar way to conventional boilers Biomass heating can satisfy the total heating and hot water requirements for most homes. Biomass boilers offer an environmentally sound, heating solution. Burning biomass, such as pellets or logs, emits the same amount of carbon dioxide as is absorbed while the plants were growing. They efficiently extract energy to provide both heating and hot water.
